We are proud to announce that Diagnostics 360 has taken another significant step in our environmental commitment by using Carbon Balanced Paper for our 2024 paper usage. This initiative reflects our ongoing dedication to reducing our ecological footprint while maintaining the high-quality diagnostic services our patients rely on.
Our Environmental Achievement
The World Land Trust has officially certified that through our paper choices this year, we have balanced the equivalent of 63kg of CO2 emissions. This contribution supports the protection of 12 square metres of critically threatened tropical forest – ecosystems that are vital for biodiversity and carbon sequestration.
Why This Matters
As a UK-based laboratory, we understand that every aspect of our operations has an environmental impact. By choosing Carbon Balanced Paper, we’re helping to:
- Protect vital wildlife habitats and biodiversity
- Preserve tropical forests that are under threat of deforestation
- Contribute to global carbon reduction efforts
- Support sustainable practices in our daily operations
Our Broader Commitment
This certification is part of our broader sustainability strategy at Diagnostics 360. We believe that as healthcare providers, we have a responsibility not only to care for our patients but also for the planet we all share.
The World Land Trust works globally to protect and restore ecologically important habitats. Their Carbon Balanced Paper programme specifically focuses on the protection, preservation, and reforestation of tropical forests under threat of deforestation and degradation.
Moving Forward
We remain committed to finding innovative ways to reduce our environmental impact while delivering exceptional diagnostic services. We’re proud to partner with organisations like the World Land Trust that make tangible differences in environmental conservation.
