Diagnostics 360 Supplier Code of Conduct
Supplier codes of conduct are established to ensure that a company’s suppliers uphold safe working conditions, treat their workers with respect and dignity, and practice environmentally responsible manufacturing processes. Diagnostics 360’s supplier code of conduct was developed in accordance with B Corp and UKAS standards.
At Diagnostics 360, we are committed to ensuring our suppliers operate responsibly and ethically. This Supplier Code of Conduct outlines the standards and expectations we have for all suppliers we work with.
Labour Standards
- Suppliers shall not use any form of forced, bonded, indentured or prison labour. All work must be voluntary.
- Suppliers shall not employ workers under the legal working age. The minimum age is 15 or the compulsory schooling age, whichever is higher. For hazardous work, the minimum age is 18.
- Suppliers shall comply with all local applicable laws regarding working hours and overtime, including maximum hour limits and mandatory days off.
- Suppliers shall compensate workers with wages, overtime premiums, and benefits that meet or exceed legal requirements.
- Suppliers shall respect workers’ right to freedom of association and collective bargaining.
- Suppliers shall prohibit discrimination, harassment, and retaliation in the workplace. Employment decisions shall be based on qualifications, skills, and achievements.
- Suppliers shall provide a safe and healthy working environment and comply with all local applicable health and safety laws.
Environmental Standards
- Suppliers shall comply with all local applicable environmental laws and regulations.
- Suppliers shall seek ways to conserve natural resources and energy, reduce waste and emissions, and minimize the environmental impact of their operations.
Materials Restrictions
- Suppliers shall adhere to all applicable laws and regulations regarding the research, development, handling, shipment, use, and disposal of chemicals, hazardous materials, and biological materials.
Business Practices
- Suppliers shall conduct business ethically and act with integrity at all times. This includes having zero tolerance for bribery, corruption, extortion, or embezzlement.
- Suppliers shall comply with all local applicable laws related to the conduct of business. This includes laws related to taxation, money laundering, competition, and data privacy.
Monitoring and Compliance
- Diagnostics 360 will share this Code of Conduct with the suppliers when they are onboarded, with the expectation that the suppliers will diligently strive to adhere to and uphold the stipulated standards to the best of their ability.
- Violations of this Code may result in the termination of the business relationship. Suppliers shall immediately report any known violations and agree to implement corrective actions.
Human Rights
- Suppliers shall respect the human rights of workers and treat everyone with dignity.
- Suppliers shall prohibit harsh or inhumane treatment, including any sexual harassment, sexual abuse, physical punishment, or coercion.
Sustainability
- Suppliers shall seek to reduce the environmental impact of their operations through energy and water efficiency, reduced emissions, and recycling initiatives.
Documentation
- Suppliers shall maintain proper documentation related to labour, health and safety, and environmental practices. This includes policies, procedures, permits, training records, inspection reports, and other applicable documents.
Supplier Performance Monitoring
- Diagnostics 360 will continually measure supplier performance using criteria such as suitability, delivery, communication, relevant ISO certifications, and conformity. This evaluation is carried out to ensure that the services provided consistently meet the selected supplier criteria in line with UKAS standards.
Reporting Concerns
- The supplier code of conduct from Diagnostics 360 serves as guidance for suppliers. Suppliers are encouraged to report any violations of this code to Diagnostics 360. Depending on the severity of the violation, Diagnostics 360 may choose to review the supplier’s service agreement.
